Charlie Ondeck
Charlie Ondeck serves as a Policy Analyst at McWilliams Governmental Affairs, where he supports clients through legislative research, policy analysis, client communications, and meeting coordination. His experience in Texas politics includes work in the Texas Senate during the 89th Texas Legislative Session and in the office of a Texas State Senator Brent Hagenbuch during special legislative sessions, where he supported legislative operations, constituent services, committee work, and policy research.
Charlie is currently concluding his studies at the University of Texas at Austin, where he is studying Government while also pursuing a Bridging Disciplines Program certificate in Public Policy and a minor in Professional Sales and Business Development. At UT, he has served in Student Government as a representative for the College of Liberal Arts and now serves in the Office of the Administrative Director as Associate to the Administrative Director. Through his work at the Capitol, on campus, and at McWilliams, Charlie continues to deepen his interest in Texas policy and government relations, with particular interests in energy, emerging technology, education, and the legislative process.
In his free time, Charlie enjoys reading, playing basketball, and exploring Austin’s live music scene.
