Diana Villagomez Barajs
Diana Villagomez serves as the Community Outreach Director on the National Board of 725 Dream, facilitating communication and connections in Texas and the Bay Area. Diana also holds leadership positions as an executive board member of Minority Women Pursuing Law and Vice President of the nonprofit Project Yellow.
Currently, Diana is conducting research on the United States Congress’s academic hiring practices. Her professional experience includes working at an injury law firm, where she supported the litigation team by filing and creating motions for depositions. She has also contributed to nonprofit work at Posada Esperanza, delivering support services to immigrant families through ESL instruction and mental health awareness programming.
At McWilliams Governmental Affairs, Diana is eager to deepen her understanding of the legislative process and learn how policies directly impact Texas communities while she studies Government and Philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin.
In her free time, Diana enjoys reading, running, listening to live music, and exploring Austin’s coffee scene with friends.
